Keysborough Residents Win With Upgrade Of Tatterson Park

KEYSBOROUGH RESIDENTS WIN WITH UPGRADE OF TATTERSON PARK

Member for Isaacs Mark Dreyfus has welcomed $4.86 million of federal funding for the development of a multi-purpose sporting hub at Tatterson Park, Keysborough.

“This funding is wonderful news for residents of Keysborough,” Mr Dreyfus said.

“I congratulate the City of Greater Dandenong, which has worked very hard to secure this funding.

“This sporting hub will include a new Sporting and Community Pavilion and a synthetic playing pitch. It will be of great benefit for all residents in the City of Greater Dandenong.

“I was very pleased to give my support to this project and I look forward to seeing this new facility completed and used by local sportspersons,” Mr Dreyfus said.

A total of $4.86 million is being contributed by the Commonwealth Government for the project.

The total cost of the project is $9.73 million, with the balance to be funded by the City of Greater Dandenong.
